Dr. Liubov Korobenina, Veterinarian

Dr. Liubov Korobenina graduated with honors from the Veterinary Academy in 2015 in Russia, where she gained invaluable experience working in various departments, including general practice, emergency care, and rehabilitation, at some of Moscow’s largest veterinary hospitals.

After relocating to the United States in 2023, Dr. Liubov Korobenina continued her career in veterinary medicine and began the ECFVG certification program for foreign veterinarians. Her professional interests focus on sports medicine, physiotherapy, neurology, and behavior training—areas that bring her the most fulfillment and inspiration.

Dr. Korobenina is currently a Veterinary Graduate Awaiting Licensure (VGAL) – a designation for international veterinary graduates who are in the process of completing the necessary requirements to practice as licensed veterinarians in the United States. While pursuing licensure, Dr. Korobenina has already completed her certification in veterinary rehabilitation, building on her previous experience as a rehabilitation veterinarian in her home country of Russia. Throughout this process, she is supported by Dr. Monaco and the veterinary team at PAWS Health Partners, who are committed to helping her transition into full licensure and continue her professional contributions in veterinary medicine.

Staying up to date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine is a top priority for Dr. Liubov Korobenina. She is deeply committed to continuous learning through research and hands-on workshops, ensuring she provides the highest standard of care to her patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Liubov Korobenina enjoys spending time with her retired dog, Pon’ka. Together, they achieved remarkable milestones, including winning the European Championship in Dog Dancing. At 14.5 years old, Pon’ka remains active and cheerful, a testament to the importance of maintaining good physical condition and a joyful spirit.”

Dr. Taylor Francher, Veterinarian

Dr. Taylor Francher’s dream of becoming a veterinarian started much like any other, when she proudly declared to her parents at nine that she wanted to be a bunny doctor. Her passion grew, and she began exploring avenues like Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) even while she was still an undergraduate. She graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, but has been in the field since high school.

She has been practicing in the Las Vegas area since then. Her early career was broad, encompassing cats, dogs, and most exotic pets. After starting a family with human children, Dr. Francher realized she needed a change of pace from the typical veterinary clinic. To better support her patients and clients, she is currently broadening her expertise by completing a second advanced degree in TCVM from Chi University to bolster her skills in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Francher prefers to spend her free time with her husband and three young children. She also has a furred-and-feathered family, including two Boston Terriers, a cat, a green-cheeked conure, and a variety of aquatic residents. When she gets the chance, Dr. Francher loves solving jigsaw puzzles and reading, especially a good fantasy book.

Autumn, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Autumn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a dedicated and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of practice, having been licensed since 2000. In 2018, Autumn furthered her expertise by becoming a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee, blending a passion for animal care with a commitment to advancing healing therapies for pets.

A resident of Las Vegas for more than 30 years, Autumn enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering at a local lion habitat, where she helps care for and feed the majestic animals. In addition to her work with animals, Autumn is an avid theatergoer, regularly enjoying musicals at The Smith Center.

When at home, Autumn shares her life with two playful dachshunds, Benny and Jet, who bring joy and companionship to her life.

Nickie, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Nickie, along with her husband Mark and daughter Elizabeth, has lived in Henderson for twenty-two years. Once her daughter graduated from high school and went off to college, Nickie knew it was her time to pursue her dream of working in veterinary medicine. She attended College of Southern Nevada’s Veterinary Technology program and graduated in 2020.

Nickie loves to learn and is always pursuing areas of study that help her grow as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. When Rehab 4 PAWS & Integrative Therapy opened, she saw an opportunity to shift the focus of her veterinary career. She enrolled at North Carolina State University and is currently earning her Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist certification.

Nickie loves seeing the achievements of her patients as they progress through therapy and witnessing how Rehab 4 PAWS & Integrative Therapy is changing the lives of pets and their owners.

In her spare time, Nickie enjoys spending time with Mark and Elizabeth, her horse Tucker, their pitbull, Raven, and their two cats, Monkey and Rosie.

JLo, Veterinary Tech In Training

Jennifer Lopez, aka JLo, is a soon-to-be biology graduate from UNLV with a passions for animal rehabilitation and physical therapy. Inspired by caring for her two senior dogs, Ghost and Zala, she’s developed a deep appreciation for helping aging, injured, and post-surgery animals regain their strength and mobility. She finds purpose in building meaningful connections with both pets and owners throughout the healing journey. Being in school doesn’t leave her with much free time, but when she does get a chance to unwind, you’ll find her reading a good book or spending time outdoor with her family and two fur babies!

Jenny Hayes, Operations Director

Jenny brings with her 15 years of experience and a passion for driving positive change in veterinary culture. Jenny started her career in high school when she began working as a receptionist in a small veterinary office. She worked her way through learning and mastering each support role from kennels to the treatment floor. After pursuing an education in Veterinary Technology, she became a Licensed Veterinary Technician, but her education did not stop there. She continued her pursuit of knowledge in the field and obtained certificates in behavior, CPR, nutrition, euthanasia, and Fear Free Elite professional. She believes to excel you must enjoy being a forever learner. Jenny encourages new professionals in the field to have fun and to be adaptable to learning new things while giving them confidence in practicing the highest quality of care. Jenny has enjoyed opportunities working in Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Emergency and Critical Care, Triage, ICU, and Oncology.

Jenny joined PAWS Health Partners because she believes in Dr. Monaco’s vision that through creating a healthy, sustainable, and positive culture where every team member thrives that we elevate the wellbeing of everyone involved. She wants to help drive change in the field that leads to better quality of life for the staff that in-turn increases the care and health that pet parents desire for their 4-legged family members. She is determined and excited to be part of a new way of doing veterinary medicine.

When she is not working, Jenny spends her time with her husband, son, and her two dogs; Ace the Silken Windbound and Rainbow the Clumber Spaniel. She enjoys reading, dog sports such as conformation and agility, and watching too many true crime documentaries.

Laurie, Client Care Representative

Laurie has always had a passion to work with animals. In 2010, she got her Veterinary Assistant Certification through Animal Behavior College. She worked in vet clinics and shelters in the state of Colorado up until she moved to Henderson in 2019 and continued working in the veterinary field as a receptionist. She has been in the field for over 14 years.

Laurie has rescued and fostered while working in the shelters. She enjoys working with clients and patients and making sure they are getting the best service and what they need.

Laurie outside of work enjoys movies, concerts, reading, being with her dogs, traveling with her Husband and volunteering at shelters when she can.
